Ok, so yes, I had my 10 yr reunion last weekend. Heather and I left the Coffey wedding early (sorry guys!) and headed out to our 10 yr reunion, which was taking place at Schweglers bowling alley. Hmmm, I didn't have very high hopes. I also didn't have high hopes because the organizer said only about 17 people RSVP'd. But, at our pre-reunion reunion gathering the night before at the tavern, we all thought more people would show up since I knew a lot of people that still lived around here and surely they would come right?? No, we were wrong.
Heather and I headed in to the alley and spotted a few classmates bowling. We went over and said hi and chatted and sure enough, the organizer said only 15 people had shown up and they were downstairs. Eh, ok, we head downstairs....holy crap, ya only 15 people were there, half of which we see and hang out with on a regular basis!! Too funny! Well we went around and said hi to everyone, met a couple boyfriends and girlfriends, got to catch up with our long lost friend Eli who lives in Portland and is a lawyer now! Good for him!
We actually ended up having a really fun time. Now, I can't say with exact certainty but I know I had a lot to drink. I had been drinking at the wedding before, and just kept ordering the bacardi's at the reunion left and right. By the end of the night at bar time, Heather and I were left with Dan Schiro, Dan Parks, Todd Waller, Jeff Opie, and Jason Buchman. Not in a million years would the two of us ever had hung out with these guys!! But we started doing shots (thanks Todd!) and ya, we even decided to do an after bar!! Too Funny! By this time I was tanked so of course I went along with it. We partied until 4am over at Dan's apartment!! OMG how funny. I really only remember dancing in Dan's living room and just hanging out. It was a blast.
I can say that Heather and I successful conquered our 10yr reunion. As for our 15 yr, Ryan and I offered to take over the planning since between the two of us, we know a lot of our classmates. I can't wait. I hope its as fun as this one was!
